director for commercial, branded content, and original works.
Cory Pampalone is an American filmmaker that specializes in comedy-dialogue, brand lifestyle and product commercials. He has enjoyed working with many leading brands including Verizon, GSK, Bob Evans, Airstream, BigLots!, Smithsonian, Purina, Clek, Audi, Jeep, and state lottery commissions, to name a few.
Cory began his lifelong affinity for moving pictures making lo-fi VHS films with his best friend in upstate NY in the 90's. He carried that passion to to school where he attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit for a degree in film and digital media. He cut his teeth at production and advertising companies in Los Angeles and San Francisco but his career really took off while in-house at an ad agency back in Detroit where his team's work on Jeep won a Cannes Lions award.
He is founder of Storytellers Anonymous, a midwest based full service production agency and has been building a slow and steady body of directorial work from there.
When not working, he is living the Ohio rural life with his wife Nikki. He's fond of a good bourbon, fitness-y things, and backpacking excursions. His music tastes are all over the board, but don't expect to play any late 80's to early 90's hip hop without Cory reciting many of those lyrics word for word.
